Wuhan Qiangxin Vegetable Production and Marketing Professional Cooperatives was established in June 2008. It is the first specialized farmer cooperatives with register capital of RMB 10 million Yuan and total assets of 20,600,000 Yuan. It is located at #604 of Wuxinganxian, Boquan Branch of Dongxihu District, with 312 member households with radiation of thousands of households, with more than 3,000 mu of production bases with radiation of tens of thousands mu, achieving pollution-free standardization of vegetables, scale cultivation of 600 mu. The cooperative supplies more than 100 varieties of vegetables and more than 10,000 tons of vegetables each year, with an annual output value of more than 50 million yuan. The cooperative has been successively awarded by provincial, municipal and district governments as "Advanced Unit of Rural Professional Cooperative Economic Organization Construction", "Demonstration Cooperative", "Core Demonstration Cooperative" and other honorable titles. In June 2014, the cooperative was rated as "National Professional Farmer cooperative".

       The cooperative has a comprehensive office area, vegetable pesticide residue inspection room, agricultural product quality and safety traceability office, vegetable trading market, vegetable fresh storage, and supporting more than 10 large and small refrigerated storage and transportation vehicles. At the same time, in order to enhance the added value of agricultural products, in 2012, the cooperative expanded the fresh vegetable deep-processing workshop of 2,000 square meters and lotus root deep-processing assembly line. After several years of development, the cooperative added deep-processing production of lotus root slices, lotus root diced, horseshoe, peanut seedlings and other products.

       Under the working mechanism of "run by the people, run by the people and benefit the people", the cooperative provides the surrounding farmers with a one-stop service of agricultural technology, production and sales. In order to connecting "agricultural supermarket, agricultural school, agricultural enterprises", “Qiangxin Commercial Firm” was established in Sijimei Farmer's Town and “Qiangxin” trademark was registered, therefore the cooperatives have their own brand vegetables, some of the brand vegetables have been exported to overseas.

       After several years of development, the cooperative has formed a vegetable cold chain distribution center integrating vegetable production, testing, processing, sorting, storage, cold chain logistics and distribution, which has successfully led to a road to wealth for local farmers. In the future, the cooperative will also build unique ecological restaurant, leisure fishing farm, super large parking lot and fruit and vegetable picking garden, forming a multi-functional modern agricultural ecological park integrating fruit and vegetable production, sightseeing and picking, agricultural technology training and leisure fishing.
